RETREAT YOURSELF!

Finally our Bali yoga retreat is live and kicking and booking is open!! This is something I've dreamed of for years but timing has always been off and something had been holding me back.  I've always known I wanted to host a retreat, known for a while Bali was the place where it would all start but never felt the actual draw to go ahead and dive in. Cue a teeny push from my friend and teacher Terrie Foster aka Asher Yoga , and all of a sudden the universe aligned and we're actually doing this!!

 

As soon as I qualified as a yoga teacher a few years ago, I knew I wanted to share yoga with as many people as possible via as many mediums as possible! If you are a regular visitor here (thank you!!), you know how much I love Bali and how it changed me, so I knew that I needed to share yoga and Bali! If the thought of escaping to Bali for 5 nights isn't enough for you or you're still on the fence about retreats, read on.........

 

 5 reasons why you should go on a yoga retreat 

 

 

1. You get to connect with like minded people and make new friends

People are often a little apprehensive to attend a retreat alone, but the beauty is, you already share a common passion and goal. Even if you are new to yoga, you will find that you will grown, deepen and expand yourself and your knowledge in some way, in a safe environment with no judgement.

 

 

2. Time out for yourself

Going on holiday and going on a retreat are two completely separate things. A retreat gives you the opportunity to take a step back and evaluate where you are from a distance. We all live such fast lives, and a retreat gives you the opportunity to press pause for a few days, away from the stresses and strains we face every day and just slow down and concentrate on being you.

 

 

3. Learn something new

Maybe your new to yoga, maybe you want to deepen your meditation practice. Maybe you just want to take the time to chat to new people and be comfortable in your surroundings. Or maybe you just want to travel to a new place and rediscover yourself for a few days. A retreat is the perfect opportunity to do just this 

 

 

4. Make some new habits

Stuck in a rut? Tired of the hamster wheel turning but getting nowhere? A yoga retreat is the perfect opportunity to break those old habits and establish some brand new ones to take home with you. Getting out of your regular routine for the week is the perfect time to introduce some new behaviours

 

 

5. Because you deserve it!

It's that simple. You don't need any justification or excuse. We often use the reasons of time, money, work, blah, blah blah, but they are just excuses!! You deserve to take a break, to do something just for yourself, and you don't need any other reason other than you want to!!
